CEC win prestigious awards!

Cornwall Environmental Consultants (CEC) Ltd has scooped 2 major awards at the Excellence in Business Training Awards 2008, hosted by Cornwall College Business. The Awards, held at The Headland Hotel, Newquay, showcase the importance of staff training in business success and are open to private and public sector organisations across Cornwall.
CEC won the category ‘Leading Small – Medium Enterprise Committed to Training’ and went on to be awarded the overall ‘Winner of the Business Training Awards’. All the team at CEC were very proud just have been short listed for its category, let alone win two awards.

CEC are consultant ecologists and landscape architects based in Allet, Truro. The combination of ecological and landscape expertise allows CEC to produce solutions specifically tailored to the wildlife and habitats of the South West, thereby promoting biodiversity and helping to achieve sustainable development objectives.
CEC employs 21 members of staff, including professional ecologists and landscape architects all of whom have enjoyed the benefits of being employed by a company which has such a high quality training scheme in place. The training provided ranges from attending courses on best practice when surveying protected species, to learning how to use the most up to date landscape design software available.
