CEC introduces new staff

Landscape Architect, Lucy Wilson and Assistant Ecologist, Kim Jelbert

Cornwall Environmental Consultants (CEC) Ltd, the trading arm of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, has recently appointed two new members of staff.
Kim Jelbert has joined CEC as an Assistant Ecologist after graduating from the University of Exeter (Cornwall Campus) in 2006 with an MSc in Biodiversity & Conservation. Kim is looking forward to putting her skills & knowledge into action and says she is very excited about working with such a well-established environmental consultancy.
CEC has also welcomed Lucy Wilson, who joins as a Landscape Architect. Lucy has over 6 years experience within the landscape architecture field and is keen to bring her skills to profit clients on a range of design and assessment projects.
CEC's ecological team provides a range of ecological consultancy services including Protected Species Surveys for bats, barn owls, otters, badgers & dormice, Habitat Restoration, Site Management Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment.
The landscape architecture team provides a range of services including Master planning, Design & Detailing, Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment and Stakeholder Consultation.
Both members of staff are looking forward to developing their careers with CEC Ltd and working to improve Cornwall's environment.
The appointment of Kim and Lucy brings to fifteen the number of full-time CEC staff.
CEC has achieved steady growth over the last six years working for a variety of public and private sector clients in Cornwall and the southwest, and continues to provide important support, financial and otherwise, to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
